University of National and World Economy
The University of National and World Economy /UNWE/ is the eldest, the most prestigious and the largest economic university in Bulgaria and Southeastern Europe. The academic management body focuses its efforts on the implementation of major UNWE objectives: to prepare the elite of the country, as it has always done ever since its foundation, to be a leader in Bulgarian higher education – an integral part of the European educational and research area and preferable place for the young people willing to acquire modern education, to provide competitive educational services.
The UNWE has obtained for the third time the highest assessment among all Bulgarian universities for a six-years period by the National Accreditation and Assessment Agency.
At the UNWE work about 500 lecturers, 300 of them are Professors and Associate Professors.
The UNWE occupies highly competitive positions. Traditionally it has the largest number of prospective students and a record number of excellent students in comparison with the other universities in our country.
The UNWE is the largest Bulgarian university. It has 21 534 students studying in full-time and distance form of education in 43 Bachelor`s degree specialities and 88 Master`s degree specialities as well as about 500 Bulgarian and foreign PhD students studying in 43 PhD programmes.
The UNWE collaborates with 137 universities from all over the world working with them on joint Master`s degree programmes, scientific research projects, distance learning, and student and lecturer exchange.
University of Peloponnese
The University of the Peloponnese is a modern, multidisciplinary, regional, and multi-campus university. It was established in 2000, it accepted its first students in 2002. The university is developed in the five Capitals of Prefectures of the Peloponnese Region (Tripolis, Corinth, Nafplion, Sparta, Kalamata) and Patra. The aim of the establishment and operation of the University of the Peloponnese is a creative contribution to the development of higher education in the Greek region, with high-quality standards corresponding to the content of studies, research, and teaching in the requirements of a modern University with national, European and international scope. It comprises 9 Schools and 22 Departments and offers studies in all cycles of learning: undergraduate, postgraduate, and Doctoral as well as Life Long Learning. The University of the Peloponnese has more than 20.000 students (1st, 2nd and 3rd Cycle of Studies).
The Mission of The University of the Peloponnese is:

Quality Assurance in Higher Education is the main objective of the European Higher Education Area. The basic principle of quality assurance is the high sense of responsibility of each institution towards students and society to provide high-quality education.
The Quality Assurance Unit of the University of the Peloponnese is the central coordinating body of the University’s quality assurance and evaluation procedures. The University of the Peloponnese has:
- 24 Postgraduate Programs (6 in English language and 8 in collaboration with Greek and foreign universities);
- 350 members of Academic Staff and 165 members of Administrative Staff; -22.420 undergraduate students, 1.706 postgraduate students and 527 doctoral students.
- Collaboration with 8 national and 13 foreign Universities.
- Collaboration with 30 national and 3 international organizations (Ministries, Regions, Municipalities, Chambers, Institutes, Research centres, Charity organizations, etc.).
Research and Analyses Ltd
Research and Analyses Ltd (R&A Ltd) is a Research centre which supports and performs applied studies, scientific researches, programmes and projects in the field of technological, economic, environmental and social issues related to the fast penetration of information and communication technologies both in public and private sectors. The mission of the organisation is to contribute towards the transformation of the society to meet the challenges of the digital world. The main pillars of the values the Foundation rest upon are sustainable development regarding digital environment through analyses and ethical reviews, promotion of quality education and lifelong learning and gender equality. To achieve its mission, Research and Analyses Ltd (R&A Ltd) initiates innovative and rigorous research projects, education activities, ransfer of knowledge and best practices, as well as strong partnerships with national and international institutions.
During the last 2 years Research and analyses Ltd has successfully implemented by its own or in partnership activities and projects aimed at:
- Initiating, supporting and conducting of activities for implementation of applied studies, research, programmes and projects in the field of new technologies and technological development.
- Supporting competent state bodies in state policy design for information and communication technologies development.
- Broad use and enforcement of the information and communication technologies by companies and community for sustainable development.
- Networking and collaboration with national and international organisations both from the public and private domain working in the area of disaster risk reduction and information technologies.
- Training and consultancy on trust services & cybersecurity, e-Health, e-Commerce, e-Communication, Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence, Intellectual Property Rights, etc.
- In-depth research in the area of technology innovations, entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship with the purpose for identifying best practices and opportunities for their application in the national business ecosystem.
- Communication with key stakeholders regarding current and future needs and common issues of the community, with the outlook of solving the problems and helping the community evolve. This includes foresight into issues and solutions, a proactive approach and consistency in agency and active participation.
- Organisation and implementation of corporate trainings. As Research and Analyses Ltd works with internationally recognised top experts in various fields, the organised trainings are of the highest level, with great feedback and a promising future. Choosing and developing the most intriguing and relevant topics, which will bring the most value to our stakeholders, is a priority of the corporate trainings.
- Strategic analysis and planning of Research and Analyses Ltd’s broad spectrum of activities. The company handles all relevant research into possible development opportunities, creates a risk management structure and plan, as well as analyses of the current and planned activities to minimise shortcomings and avoidable underperformance areas and gaps.
This also includes resource planning, as well as managing sponsorship and for-profit activities. Company teams up the experience of 26 professionals who have covered all the set of activities. The R&D succeed in attracting consultants from the University of Leicester, Birkbeck, University of London and University of East London. All the staff members are experts who have suitable qualifications, knowledge and experience of the subject under review. Most of the consultants have up-to-date experience of the software market and in professional training. This allows to design practical processes that will work with and take advantage of current software packages by avoiding the trap of designing theoretically perfect processes that either won’t work in the real world or constraining the benefits from modern software systems.
